  1. How do I book tickets on Ghumo.com?
  • Become a registered member of Ghumo.com.
  • Select your flight and fill in your passenger details.
  • On confirmation of your booking you will be presented the payment page.
  • Choose one of the payment options and pay.
  • Your order will be created on successful payment.
  • Your tickets will then be emailed to your delivery email address.
  1. How do I book tickets within 2 days?

    Currently, we do not book tickets within 2 days to departure.
  1. How can I cancel my ticket that I bought on Ghumo.com?

    There are two options to cancel a ticket
  • If your departure date is less than 2 days then you have to call the airline office cancel the booking and get the airline reference. You can then send us the refund request to bookings@ghumo.com. The refund will be credited back to your credit card.
  • If your departure date is more than 4 days then you can email the cancellation request to bookings@ghumo.com. We will cancel the tickets and refund the amount back to your credit card.
  1. I tried to book a ticket but was unable to do so as it said the address cannot have any special characters.

    The billing address and the delivery address should contain only alphabets, slash (/) and commas (,). The address cannot include special characters such as '! @#$%^&*()'
  1. I have booked my ticket and have not received my ticket yet. How do I check the status?

    To check the delivery status of your ticket, log into Ghumo.com and then click MyGhumo on the top-right corner of the page. In the Order list table, click your Order number. On the top right corner of the order details page is your ticket delivery status.
  1. I bought a ticket but want to reschedule it to a different date.

    To reschedule your ticket, email your rescheduling request to bookings@ghumo.com. This facility is available only 4 days prior to departure and is subject to rules and conditions of the ticket purchased.
  1. I booked my ticket but did not get my PNR. How do I get my PNR?

    To know your PNR, log into Ghumo.com and then click MyGhumo on the top-right corner of the page. In the Order list table, click your Order number. The PNR is displayed in your order.
  1. How do I change my delivery address?

    Delivery address is the address to which your ticket will be sent. To change your delivery address, email your address change request to bookings@ghumo.com and the address will be changed for you.
  1. Can a relative in India book a domestic flight for me that I will be taking during my visit to Bombay. It looks like some airlines have different fares for non resident Indians. At what point of booking, does this question come up on your site?

    Currently tickets on Ghumo.com can only be booked within India and the tickets will be delivered only in India. The fare rules of the ticket are displayed to you at the time of confirmation.
  1. What is my user id ?

    Your email ID is your user-id.
  1. I forgot my password.

    To receive your password by email, click Login and then click Forgot Password. Type your email ID which is also your Ghumo login ID and then your password will be emailed to you.
  1. What are fare alerts?

    Attractive fares to frequently travelled places will be sent to your email on a periodic basis. These emails are called fare alerts.
  1. How do I subscribe/unsubscribe to fare alerts?

    To subscribe to fare alerts, log into Ghumo.com. Click Myghumo on the top-right corner of the page and then click Fare Alerts. To unsubscribe to fare alerts, log into Ghumo.com. Click Myghumo link on the top-right corner of the page and then click Fare Alerts. In the Your Selections table, click your fare alert and then click Delete.
  1. I had booked a ticket but not paid. How do I cancel the booking since I had again booked another ticket for the same flight and paid for the same.

    To cancel such bookings, email your cancellation request to webmaster@ghumo.com and the ticket will be cancelled for you.
  1. What is one-stop search facility and how to use it?

    For routes that are not connected by direct flights, the one stop feature enables you to find flights that connect these cities. For example, there is no direct flight between Ahmedabad and Nagpur. By using the one stop option, you will receive search results from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and Mumbai to Nagpur.
  1. How will my tickets be delivered?

    Your tickets will be delivered by E-mail to the delivery email address.
  1. Is my credit card number safe? Is it safe to use a credit card online?

    Yes, it is safe to use your credit card online. Ghumo.com uses ICICI payment gateway which is a Verisign approved site.
  1. What happens when the flight is cancelled?

    You can contact the airline for flight delays and cancellations.
  1. Why does Ghumo.com say flight is unavailable when the fare was shown in the search results page?

    Airlines change the fare continuously and there are some cases when the fare changes from available to non-available during the booking process.
  1. What are the cancellation charges of my ticket?

    Airlines have different cancellation rates for different fares. The cancellation rules are provided to you by Ghumo.com at the time of booking. Most airlines charge between Rs.500 and Rs.600 for cancellation of discounted tickets. Ghumo.com charges Rs.150 as handling charges over and above the cancellation charges of the airline.
